Penny Austen Vlieger ouvre son Atelier artisanal de Couture les après-midis de Mercredi et Jeudi de 14h00 – 17h00 -
L’Atelier est équipé de plusieurs machines à coudre et sur jeteuses, et vous pouvez acheter des tissus et de la mercerie pour tous vos projets de couture, broderie, patchwork, quilting - etc–
Soyez le bienvenu « Chez Penny » dans son atelier et sa galerie d’art, pour voir tout ce que nous faisons, et pour prendre plaisir à boire un thé ou café avec nous –

We also organize « workshops » in our Atelier, using our materials and equipment. Generally these are inspired by the colours and materials around us here in the Dordogne.
The workshops include sewing, embroidery, craft and textile work.
During 2018, we ran workshops led by professional tutors, “The Colours of the Périgord”, in May, - and which included free machine embroidery, rust work, use of geli pads and art materials – inspired by the colours of the stonework, caves, Lascaux and rich colours of our local vegetation.
In September 2018, we ran a FREE WEAVING WORKSHOP, which was a Fibre Arts workshop in experimental weaving & interlacing as an art form. The workshops are held in English. During 2019, we had organized a workshop in the first week of June :- “ THROUGH THE DOOR TO THE PERIGORD” :- French textile experience with techniques in line drawing, using light box and free motion machine embroidery.
